THE TOP FIVE LIMITING BELIEFS I SEE IN BUSINESS OWNERS
Your current beliefs are perfectly designed to achieve your current results. So when our business results and our external world feels stuck or stagnant, it is important to explore our limiting beliefs.
A limiting belief is simply a belief that may have served you at some point but doesn’t serve you anymore. Beliefs are established in the mind early on and are there to help you survive. They might have helped you gain love and belonging, or helped you understand and navigate the landscape of the family and carers you grew up around.
For example, if you were taught as a child to stay quiet, this helped you as a child to make sure that you didn’t get in trouble from your parents. Now as a business owner, it may be stopping you from expressing your truth and sharing your message with your community.
Limiting beliefs aren’t ‘good’ or ‘bad’, they are simple things that once served you well, yet in your current stage of life, are no longer helping you to be the best version of yourself.
The beauty is that our brains are not hard-wired, we have the power to change our limiting beliefs through subconscious reprogramming.
There are a number of limiting beliefs that I see come up with business owners and entrepreneurs, but some of the most common ones are;
1. Fear of failure
2. Fear of being abandoned and/or not belonging
3. Not trusting yourself
4. Capping the amount of joy, success or abundance you are ‘allowed’
5. Believing you need to do everything yourself, and not putting trust in anyone else
If any of these beliefs sound even remotely familiar, you are not alone. By identifying what limiting beliefs you hold through journaling, recognising self-talk, or at RTT session with me, you will be able to identify what the limiting belief is, and rewire your story.
Rewire your limiting beliefs and witness the results in your external world unfold.
