STEPPING OUT OF OUR COMFORT ZONES
When we step out of our comfort zone the mind does it’s best to pull us back into safety.
Our minds want to give us alllll the worst case scenarios.
It wants to keep us safe.
Stepping out of what’s familiar feels so scary to the mind.
Buuuuut the more we lean into that discomfort the more our self belief and self trust grows.
Here are some of my key tips for stepping out of your comfort zone;
1. Journal it out or speak it out in your voice memos. What are all these terrible things that might happen? Do you have actual evidence for them?
2. Start to visualize the moment with the best possible scenario first thing in the morning and last thing at night and really feel that option.
3. Remind yourself of all times you started something new or felt scared only for it all to work out for the best.
4. Start to change one thing in your daily routine Eg the time you get up, or where / how you exercise, the route you take to get to work.
